Twilight Social Club started with a simple goal: never play solo again. We’re a community of obsessed golfers who care less about scorecards and more about good vibes, cold drinks, and walking off the course with at least one new friend. Whether you're a stick, a beginner, a muni rat, or an occasional range rat — if you love golf, you’re one of us.
This isn’t your grandpa’s country club. We don’t care about your index — we care that you show up, bring good energy, and high-five your playing partners after flushing a 7-iron. From tournaments and leagues to meetups and watch parties, Twilight is about playing, connecting, and growing the game our way. Golf’s an individual sport, but it’s way better as a team effort.
Derek Thomas - Founder
Derek Thomas is just a dude who wanted more people to play golf with.
After moving to Monterey in 2021 and playing way too many solo rounds, he launched Twilight in 2024 to build a crew of like-minded, golf-obsessed humans. Derek’s a creator, community builder, and walking contradiction: part muni grinder, part country club romantic, full-time ambassador for keeping the game fun, inclusive, and real.
